Confidentiality of your medical records.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, please note that medical records are subject to inspection by the Primary Care Trust or its equivalent, for the purpose of financial audit, record validation and research. Should you wish your records to be excluded from such inspection or use, please speak with the Reception Staff.
Comments, Complaints and Compliments

Rights and the Responsibilities of Patients
If you cannot attend an appointment –for whatever reason- please let us know, this will help us to provide a better service, and may prevent other people from being kept waiting. All medical records are treated with full confidentiality and the Data Protection Act covers the computerised records. The following people may access your records in the course of providing your care: GP, Practice Nurse, Receptionists, (to file letters etc.) District Nurse, Health Visitors and other professionals involved in your care.
We will endeavour to see patients who arrive late for their appointment only if they are here within 10 minutes of their pre-booked appointment time. If you are late it is advisable to re-book your appointment as there may involve a considerable wait.
If you are late for your appointment less than 10 minutes
The Doctor/Nurse will call you at the first available opportunity. Please be prepared to wait as there may be some delay.
If you are late by more than 10 minutes
You have to re-book your appointment as you are clearly late.
The Doctors and Staff are not prepared to tolerate rude and abusive behaviour. Any such behaviour may lead to removal from our list and reported to Barnet CCG.
